Clean Eating and Herbs
Stripping your foods back to as close to their natural state as possible will help give you your energy levels and taking out foods that your body maybe intolerant to. Taking out chemicals, processed foods etc
Next time you decide to sit down for a romantic dinner, add a little basil or garlic (brush your teeth after dinner) to your dish. The smell of basil stimulates the senses. Garlic contains high levels of Allicin, and increases blood flow.
These effects may help men with erectile dysfunction. Ginkgo Bilbo, an extract derived from the leaf of the Chinese ginkgo tree, is another herb found to treat antidepressant-induced sexual dysfunction.
According to one study, chocolate promotes the release of phenylethylamine and serotonin into your body. This can produce some aphrodisiac and mood-lifting effects.
Self Talk Yourself Confident
The way you feel about your body, is directly correlated with how you feel about sex. You can boost your self esteem by focusing on your positive attributes instead of your negative ones. Confidence will also come when you know you have worked hard to get the body you want, deserve and ultimately earned!
No matter how healthy you are, being stressed out is going to affect your sex drive. Women are particularly susceptible to the effects stress can have on you sex life.
To relieve stress, participate in a structured exercise program, play a sport, join a yoga class or practice meditation or simple breathing techniques!
Those with a hectic lifestyle don’t always have the time to get the right amount of sleep. Being busy also makes it difficult to make time for a sex. People who balance work with caring for aging parents or young children are often left exhausted, which can lead to a reduced sex drive.
Boost your energy and sex drive by taking naps when you can and eating a healthy diet high in protein and low in carbohydrates.
Tension in relationships or issues that need resolving, are a huge intimacy killer.
A life work balance is crucial and making time to maintain close relationships is paramount.
I find weekly date nights work a treat! (€ for a babysitter is worth it right?)
In males, a naturally diminishing production in testosterone level year after year, will make the desire for bedroom activities lessen. Testosterone can be boosted naturally through clean eating, exercising and taking a Zinc, Magnesium and Vit B6 supplement.(ZMA)
Imagine down the track having implemented these strategies and how much better your relationship could be with your other half!
